Rented a comfy, tidy, easy-to-tow trailer for a family trip, and Marissa with Fireside made everything super easy and straightforward for us. She gave us the do’s and dont’s, clearly explained the specifics of the camper trailer we rented, and answered all the questions I had. As we all know, reviews are too often written only by disappointed customers. But this one comes from an extremely satisfied and impressed customer. This past summer, a group of coworkers and I took a trip out to Lake Powell. Since it was a long drive and the forecast called for 100+ degree temps, we decided to rent an RV for comfort and convenience. There were 8 of us total, and we went with Fireside RV Rental in Aurora, CO. From the start, communication with management was excellent - every question answered promptly, pricing was reasonable, and pickup was quick and efficient. Marissa walked us through all the details of the unit with a friendly and thorough orientation. Now here’s where things got interesting -and where Fireside truly impressed me. Roughly six hours into the trip, the RV developed a mechanical issue: power steering problems. My friend (also a fellow soldier) and I diagnosed a leak in the power steering fluid line, which caused the reservoir to empty. Surprising, since the RV was low mileage and in excellent condition. I called the support number and got Marissa on the line. She remained calm, polite, and quick to act. At the time, we were quite literally in the middle of nowhere-stopped at a quirky gas station/jerky shop called “Jackass Joe’s.” Thankfully, they let us park in their large gravel lot while we figured things out. Marissa, from Denver, tracked down the only roadside mechanic in the area -shoutout to José- who confirmed the same fluid line issue. Unfortunately, the needed replacement part was dealership-specific, and the closest one was over an hour away-and closed. Repairs would take time, and parts weren’t available locally. Needless to say, we were crushed. The trip looked doomed before we even reached our destination. We had no idea how long we’d be stranded in this strange Area-51-themed desert pitstop. But then came the call from Marissa: “Listen, I’m going to bring you a new unit myself. I’m leaving now. I’ll be there in six hours.” Let that sink in. This level of customer service is beyond rare. Roadside support had done its job; we had a fair, professional diagnosis. Fireside could’ve reasonably said, “Hang tight until morning.” And we would’ve understood. Delays happen. Things break. But Marissa chose to go above and beyond. While waiting, I did some digging and found out there was actually a factory recall on our RV’s exact year/model for this precise power steering component. Completely unforeseeable for the family-run Fireside branch. From what I gather, their business model involves renting out privately owned RVs—so something like a recall would fall on the owner or even the manufacturer, not the rental agency. Still—six hours later, around 2 AM- Marissa arrived with a replacement unit. Not only that, she helped us transfer all our stuff into the new RV and kept a kind, apologetic, and upbeat attitude the whole time—even though this problem wasn’t her fault in the slightest. What she didn’t say, but I later found out, was that she stayed overnight with the broken RV, waited for a tow to a distant dealership, and then saw the whole repair process through before driving it all the way back to Denver. She gave us her time and effort when she undoubtedly had other things to handle- just so we could still enjoy our trip. And thanks to her… we absolutely did. So, if you’re considering Fireside RV Rental - this is the branch to go with. Our problem was one-in-a-million...but these folks delivered one-in-a-million customer service. I couldn’t be more impressed. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. I’ll definitely be renting from them again. P.S. Give Miss Marissa a raise and a promotion. She earned it.
